3. Analyze your campaigns

By now, you should have sent roughly 1,500 cold emails. You’ve set up your systems, written sequences, started conversations — and now you finally have real data to learn from.

Whether you’ve booked calls already or not, this is a key turning point. Today’s goal is simple:

Understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how to iterate intelligently.

Cold email is not just “send → hope.”

It’s a continuous feedback loop. Your niche, your offer, your angle — they all reveal themselves only once real humans start replying.

You currently should have 4-6 sequences running. The purpose of this review is to:

  • identify your highest-performing sequence
  • spot weak messaging or positioning
  • understand reply quality
  • refine structure, tone, and clarity
  • prepare to write a better sequence tomorrow

Tomorrow we’ll create a new sequence and A/B test it against your current winner. This iterative cycle is how you’ll make your outreach sharper every week.

Step 1 — Open Your Reply Inbox

Start with the basics: open the inbox where your campaign replies land.

If you have metrics like open rate, reply rate, or positive reply rate — great, use them. If not, no problem — we’ll still extract a lot just from the replies themselves.

Step 2 — Read Every Reply

Yes, every single one — including:

  • out-of-office
  • dismissive replies
  • spam responses
  • polite declines
  • interested leads (obviously)

Each type tells you something about your messaging, tone, or targeting.

As you read, reflect on the following:

Messaging & Credibility

  • Was your value prop clear in the email they replied to?
  • Did your offer actually make sense for this niche?

Sequence Insight

  • Which email triggered the reply: Email 1, 2, 3, etc.?
  • Does one specific email consistently generate responses? If yes → that’s your strongest angle. If no → good to know you need a new one.

Performance Numbers

Calculate:

  • Overall reply rate
  • Positive reply rate (interested replies ÷ total replies)
  • Conversion to calls

Even if you don’t have open tracking, this is still extremely valuable.

Cold email is a numbers game, but it’s a messaging game first.

Step 3 — Identify the Winning Sequence

Based on your review, choose the sequence performing the best.

This will stay live.

Tomorrow, you’ll write a fresh sequence and A/B test it against today’s winner. This is how you sharpen your messaging every single week.

Step 4 — Document Everything

In your Google Doc, record:

  • total prospects emailed
  • reply rate
  • positive reply rate
  • calls booked
  • key observations & mistakes
  • clear action steps

Then post your findings in Skool. It keeps you accountable and the community and me give you feedback.
