2. Content task: optimize time-to-output ratio

This is the relationship between how long your content is and how long it takes you to create it. For example, if you publish a one-hour video but spend 80 hours preparing, filming, and editing it, your ratio is 80:1.

That ratio is too high.

What you want to aim for — over time — is getting as close as possible to 1:1. One hour of content created in roughly one hour of work.

The fastest way to do this is to reduce over-preparation. Instead of scripting everything, open a canvas, a whiteboard, or your editor, and explain your thinking live while you build or break something down on screen.

This approach allows you to produce high volumes of content without burning out. If you publish consistently — even daily — you’ll outcompete most people simply through volume and repetition.

Speed is a real advantage. Use it.
