This is one of those tasks that unlocks everything else.
Why it Matters
- Clients take you more seriously when your email comes from @yourbusiness.com instead of @gmail.com. It shows you’re a business, not just experimenting.
- Many services, tools, and even discount programs require a business email.
- A real business domain lets you authenticate apps when you start building automations (Make.com, n8n, etc). Free Gmail accounts don’t give you the same access (e.g. using OAuth to Access Google APIs).
- Owning your domain early ensures no one else takes it, and you can later expand it into a website or landing page.
How to Do It (Two Steps)
Register a Domain
Create a Business Email
- Set up your first email address (e.g. firstname@youragency.com).
- Easiest route: Google Workspace. It’s reliable, simple, and integrates with everything.
- Outlook or other providers are fine too, but future steps may look slightly different.
Your Task:
Buy your domain and set up your first business email. This should take less than 30 minutes total.
