1. Name & branding
Step 1: Pick a Business Name
You need a name to move forward — for your email, your website, and your proposals. It doesn’t need to be meaningful, or “perfect.” The truth: people often waste days here, when it should take minutes.
Keep it short, easy to say, and ideally related to what you do. It can be:
- Something generic but professional (e.g. FlowSync, BrightAutomate).
- Your own name plus “Automation” or “AI” (e.g. Smith Automation).
Remember: this isn’t your forever name. You can rebrand later when you’re more established. For now, you just need something functional.
Step 2: Brainstorm Quickly
Use tools like:
- Namelix
- ChatGPT (ask: “Give me 15 short names for an AI automation agency”).
Pick something you don’t hate, and that you’d be fine buying a domain for.
**Step 3: Check Available Domains **
Once you’ve chosen a name, check if the domain (or a close variation) is available. Use tools like Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Porkbun.
Your Task
Set a 15-minute timer. That’s more time than you really need for this. Pick your name within that time. Don’t overthink it.
