Part 1: What You're Getting

This is a full web application (not a Claude Code skill) for managing your entire YouTube content pipeline. It's a Next.js dashboard with Supabase for the database, Claude for script generation, Gemini for thumbnails, Deepgram for transcription, and Blotato for cross-platform publishing.

Watch that first so you understand what you're installing. The prompt below builds the same system on your machine, branded for your channel.

What It Does

Overview tab - Pulls your YouTube channel stats, latest videos, and content in progress into one command center.

Video Creation tab - Researches your topic against your niche (finds blue ocean angles, content gaps, top competitors, viewer pain points), generates a full script in your voice, then produces title options with thumbnail concepts. The AI is trained on your channel style, goals, and delivery so the output sounds like you, not generic AI.

Thumbnails tab - Generates thumbnails through Gemini's Nano Banana model. Drop in a reference thumbnail for style, optionally include your headshot, describe the concept, and it returns multiple variations. Iterate until it's right, download, publish.

Publishing tab - Paste your YouTube auto-generated transcript with timestamps, and it produces a full video description in your style with correct timestamps, your CTAs and links, video tags, a reminder of everything you promised in the video (free templates, links, etc.), and a first pinned comment.

Repurpose tab - Paste a long-form transcript (or just a video URL and it transcribes for you) and it generates platform-specific posts for LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, plus branded carousel slides. Schedule or publish directly to all platforms from the dashboard.

Shorts tab - Upload vertical clips and publish to YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok in one click with platform-specific captions. Schedule across the month or publish immediately. (The clip generation pipeline that turns long-form videos into finished vertical shorts with animated captions is a separate skill, not packaged in this repo yet.)

Calendar tab - Tracks scheduled videos and shows what stage each one is at.

Analytics tab - Pulls your YouTube Studio data via API: subscribers, views, video performance, engagement trends, with hover details on every chart.

Peers tab - Tracks competitor channels in your niche and shows their recent videos and view counts so you can spot what's working without channel-hopping.

AI News tab - Pulls the latest AI updates daily, generates a digest, and suggests video ideas based on what's trending.

What You Need

  • Supabase account (free tier works) - Database for storing your projects, scripts, and scheduled content
  • Anthropic API key - For script generation, research, and repurposing (https://console.anthropic.com)
  • YouTube Data API key - For analytics, peer tracking, and research (free, from Google Cloud Console)
  • Google Gemini API key - For thumbnail generation via Nano Banana (https://aistudio.google.com/apikey)
  • Deepgram API key - For transcribing video URLs in the repurpose tab (https://deepgram.com)
  • Blotato API key - For multi-platform publishing to YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok (https://blotato.com)
  • Vercel account - For deployment (free tier works)
  • Your headshot - A square 500x500px+ photo for thumbnail compositing
  • Your channel info - Channel ID, niche description, brand voice notes, and a list of peer channels you want to track

This is a full app deployment, more involved than installing a skill, but Claude Code walks you through every service one at a time. Expect 30-60 minutes for the full setup if you don't have the accounts yet.

Heads Up

The dashboard is password-protected (you set the password during setup). The AI quality scales with how much context you give it about your channel during onboarding - the more specific your brand voice, niche, and peer channels, the more your output sounds like you instead of generic AI.
