Proposal generation app

Quick glimpse of how it works: https://youtu.be/uQ99iEKj01c?t=2427

Part 1: What You're Getting

This is a full web application (not a Claude Code skill) for generating and managing client proposals. It's a Next.js app with Supabase for the database, Stripe for payments, and Claude AI for content generation.

What It Does

  • Generate professional proposals for client projects using AI
  • Customize proposals with your branding, services, and pricing
  • Manage proposal status (draft, sent, accepted, declined)
  • Accept payments directly through Stripe integration
  • Send proposals via email with Resend
  • Track everything in a dashboard

You need: A Supabase account (free tier works). A Stripe account (for payment links). An Anthropic API key (for AI-powered proposal generation). A Resend account (for email delivery). A Vercel account (for deployment). This is a full app deployment - more involved than installing a skill, but the setup guide walks you through everything.

Part 2: Copy-Paste This Into Claude Code

Copy everything below and paste it into Claude Code.

I want you to help me set up the Proposal Generator app. Here's what to do:

Step 1 - Clone the repo:

git clone https://github.com/bohdan-aif/proposal-gen.git ~/Projects/proposal-gen

cd ~/Projects/proposal-gen

Step 2 - Read the setup guide:

Read the SETUP.md file in the repo. It has detailed step-by-step instructions for every service.

Step 3 - Walk me through setup:

Based on SETUP.md, guide me through each step. For each service, ask me if I already have an account and help me:

  1. Supabase - Create a project, run the database migrations from supabase/migrations/
  2. Stripe - Set up products and webhooks
  3. Anthropic - Just need the API key
  4. Resend - Set up domain and API key
  5. Vercel - Link the repo for deployment

Step 4 - Create my .env file:

There should be a .env.example in the repo. Copy it to .env.local and help me fill in all the values as we set up each service.

Step 5 - Test locally:

Run npm install and npm run dev. Open localhost:3000 and verify the app loads. Help me troubleshoot any issues.

Step 6 - Deploy:

Once everything works locally, help me deploy to Vercel with npx vercel --prod.

Walk me through this one service at a time. Don't rush - ask me questions and wait for my answers before moving to the next step.
