Part 1: What You're Getting

This pack gives you 2 Claude Code skills that take your finished long-form videos and repurpose them across platforms - vertical shorts and social media posts.

Create Shorts

Takes a long-form video file and automatically extracts the best standalone clips as vertical shorts (1080x1920). Each clip gets word-by-word captions and a YouTube branding banner. Ready to upload to YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.

Uses 3 AI services: Deepgram for transcription, Gemini for frame classification, Claude for clip selection. Each tool does what it's best at.

You need: DEEPGRAM_API_KEY (free $200 credit on signup at deepgram.com). GEMINI_API_KEY (free from Google AI Studio). ANTHROPIC_API_KEY (from console.anthropic.com). FFmpeg installed. A Remotion video project set up with the short-form components (YouTubeBanner, Caption, types). This skill is more advanced to set up - it requires a working Remotion (React video) project.

Post (Social Media Manager)

Creates and publishes social media posts for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook. Can repurpose from a YouTube video URL, article, or raw topic. Each platform gets completely native content - not the same text everywhere. Generates visuals for Instagram carousels. Saves everything as drafts for your review before publishing.

You need: BLOTATO_API_KEY (subscription at blotato.com - this is what connects to your social accounts). GEMINI_API_KEY. A brand voice file describing your tone, hashtags, CTA style per platform. A profile picture for Instagram carousels.

Part 2: Copy-Paste This Into Claude Code

Copy everything below and paste it into Claude Code. It will install the skills and walk you through setup.

I want you to install and set up the Content Repurposing skill pack. Here's what to do:

Step 1 - Install the skills:

Run these commands:

git clone https://github.com/bohdan-aif/cc-content-repurposing.git /tmp/cc-content-repurposing

cd /tmp/cc-content-repurposing && ./install.sh --all

Step 2 - Check my API keys:

Check if I have these environment variables set: DEEPGRAM_API_KEY, GEMINI_API_KEY, ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, BLOTATO_API_KEY.

For any that are missing, tell me where to get them and help me add them to my ~/.zshrc (or ~/.bashrc).

Step 3 - Set up brand voice for the Post skill:

Ask me about my social media presence. Help me create a brand_voice.md file by asking:

  • What's my tone on each platform? (LinkedIn vs X vs Instagram)
  • What hashtags do I typically use?
  • What's my default CTA? (watch video, visit link, etc.)
  • Any phrases I always use or always avoid?

Write the file for me and save it to my content workspace.

Step 4 - Set up profile picture:

Ask me for a profile photo for Instagram carousels. Help me place it in my content workspace under brand_picture/profile.png.

Step 5 - Assess Create Shorts readiness:

Check if I have a Remotion video project set up. If not, explain what it is (React-based video rendering framework) and that Create Shorts requires it. List what's needed:

  • Node.js + npm
  • A Remotion project with ShortForm components (YouTubeBanner.tsx, Caption.tsx, types.ts)
  • FFmpeg installed

If I don't have Remotion set up, mark Create Shorts as "needs additional setup" and explain I can use the Post skill right away while setting up Remotion later.

Step 6 - Verify Post skill:

Test that the Blotato API key works by checking the connection. Confirm brand voice file is in place.

After setup, give me a summary of what's ready and what still needs work.
