Calendly is the industry standard for scheduling calls. Almost every agency, consultant, and freelancer uses it — and for good reason. It removes friction from the booking process completely.

Instead of going back and forth trying to find a time, you just send a link → the client opens it → they see your availability → they pick a slot → the meeting is added to both calendars instantly.

It’s simple, fast, and professional.

Why you should use Calendly:

  • Free forever plan The free tier is more than enough when you’re getting started. You get one event type (e.g., “Discovery Call”), but unlimited meetings.
  • Automatic calendar syncing Connect Google Calendar / Outlook / iCloud. Calendly automatically blocks times you already have booked.
  • Clean booking page Clients immediately see your available times — no confusion, no friction.
  • Upgrade later if needed Paid plans unlock:
    • payment collection via Stripe (useful for paid consultations)
    • automated reminders
    • reconfirmations
    • customized follow-up flows But you don’t need any of that right now.

Set it up (takes 5–10 minutes):

  1. Create an account at calendly.com
  2. Connect your main calendar (Google/Outlook).
  3. Create your first event type (“Discovery Call”).
  4. Set your available hours (e.g., Mon–Fri, 10:00–17:00).
  5. Add this link everywhere you need it: website, outreach email, etc.

That’s it — you now have a professional booking system running in the background, making you look organized, reducing friction for prospects, and saving you time.
