Tools for investing research and market analysis. Both are educational only — not financial advice.

Claude Trading Skills — 2,091★

A 60-skill toolkit that structures an investor's process: market-regime checks, ETF/dividend portfolio review, swing screeners (VCP/CANSLIM/breakout), position sizing, trade journaling, and backtesting. It does not place orders or hand you buy/sell signals. You need: Nothing for the 5-skill starter set. Advanced screeners can optionally use FMP/FINVIZ/Alpaca keys. Install — paste into your terminal (copy in just the skills you want):

git clone https://github.com/tradermonty/claude-trading-skills.git
cp -r claude-trading-skills/skills/backtest-expert ~/.claude/skills/

Repeat the cp line for any of the other 59 skill folders, then restart Claude Code.

Claude Equity Research — 607★

One command writes an institutional-style single-stock report: thesis, price target, fundamentals, bull/base/bear valuation, risks, and position sizing — built live from Claude's web search. You need: Claude Code v2.0.11+ and a paid Claude subscription. No market-data key. Install — paste into Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add quant-sentiment-ai/claude-equity-research
/plugin install trading-ideas@claude-equity-research-marketplace

Then run: /trading-ideas:research AAPL

Bookkeeping / invoicing / accounting? There's no high-quality public Claude skill for this yet. The best setup today is the official xlsx skill (see Documents & Office) for spreadsheets and models, paired with a finance MCP (e.g. Airwallex or Stripe) so Claude can read your real transactions. Ask in the community if you want a walkthrough.
