Learning Objective

Install a pre-built skill pack, customize it to your business, and run every skill to verify it works - getting to 60% automation immediately instead of building everything from scratch.

Why Skill Packs Exist

Building everything from scratch is slow. Skill packs give you a head start with pre-built skills based on patterns that work across many businesses.

You customize them to fit your business, your tools, and your preferences. Think of them like business templates. You do not start a proposal from a blank page, and you do not need to start your AI skills from scratch either.

The 10 Available Skill Packs

All packs live in GitHub repos under the bohdan-aif organization. Each repo has its own installation guide. Here is what is available:

1. Skill Development (cc-skill-development) - 1 skill. Teaches you how to build your own skills from scratch. This is the meta-skill that makes everything else easier.

2. Website Creation (cc-websites) - 1 skill. Builds and deploys websites using Claude Code.

3. Lead Generation (cc-lead-generation) - 11 skills. The biggest pack. Covers everything from finding prospects to enriching their data to scoring lead fit.

4. Upwork Outreach (cc-upwork-outreach) - 4 skills. Specifically built for finding and responding to Upwork opportunities.

5. Demo Creation (cc-demo-creation) - 2 skills. Creates product demos and walkthrough videos for client presentations.

6. YouTube Content (cc-youtube-content) - 7 skills. Full content pipeline from research to scripting to publishing.

7. Content Repurposing (cc-content-repurposing) - 2 skills. Takes one piece of content and adapts it across multiple platforms.

8. SEO (cc-seo) - 1 skill. Search engine optimization research and implementation.

9. Presentations and Diagrams (cc-presentations-diagrams) - 2 skills. Creates visual presentations and technical diagrams.

10. Proposal Generation App (proposal-gen) - Full app. A complete application for generating client proposals, not just a skill file.

Where to Start Based on Your Business

If you sell services to other businesses (agency, consulting, freelancing), start with Lead Generation (11 skills), Upwork Outreach (4 skills), and Demo Creation (2 skills). Add the Proposal Generation App when you are ready to streamline your closing process.

If you are a content creator or personal brand, start with YouTube Content (7 skills) and Content Repurposing (2 skills). Add SEO and Website Creation as you grow your online presence.

Regardless of your business type, everyone should install Skill Development. It teaches you to build your own skills, which is the foundation for everything. Presentations and Diagrams is also useful across all business types for pitches, client work, and content.

How to Install a Skill Pack

The process is straightforward. Each repo has a step-by-step guide, but here is the general flow.

First, clone the repo from GitHub. Open your terminal and run the clone command for the pack you want.

Second, copy the skill folders into your ~/.claude/skills/ directory. This is where Claude Code looks for available skills.

That is it. Once the files are in place, the skills become available as slash commands immediately. No restart needed, no configuration required.

Customizing Your Pack

Installing the pack is just the beginning. The real value comes from making it yours.

Step 1 - Read through every file. Understand what each skill does, how it works, and what it expects as input. Do not skip this.

Step 2 - Swap in your business context. Replace generic company references with your business name. Update data sources to match your actual tools - your CRM, your email platform, your file structure. Adjust output formats to match your brand and style.

Step 3 - Update preferences and constraints. Set your tone of voice, formatting rules, and quality standards. Replace any referenced tools with the ones you actually use.

Step 4 - Run every skill at least once to test it with your context. Fix anything that breaks.

The Progression: 60 to 80 to 95

A pack installed as-is gets you to about 60%. It works, but it is generic and does not reflect your specific business.

After customization, you are at 80%. The skills reflect your business, your tools, and your preferences.

After running the iteration loop from Lesson 3.4, you hit 95%. The skills are production quality and consistently deliver results you are happy with.

This progression is dramatically faster than building everything from zero. You skip the hardest part - the blank page - and go straight to refinement.

Do Not Install Everything at Once

Pick one or two packs that match your business model right now. It is better to deeply customize one pack than to superficially install all ten.

You can always add more packs later as your business grows and you identify new areas to automate. Start focused, go deep, then expand.
